Are
"War on Terror" interrogation techniques, like those used in
Kenya, justified?
The present "War on Terror", launched by the United States and her allies, has had an alarming impact on smaller nations that are now accused of "harboring terrorists". Several news organizations and legislative tribunals are beginning to question the ethics of covert para-military style techniques that may involve kidnapping, abduction, interrogation interviews and torture. New revelations indicate that the American Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) may have been involved in operations to round-up and interrogate citizens of other countries that have been suspected of "terrorism".
The justification for such actions always seems to be the American initiated "War on Terror". However, fringe journalists in the United States are now questioning the validity of the corner stone event that produced this "War", the horrible loss of life at the World Trade Centers in New York City on September 11, 2001. With the power of the Internet -- and not mainstream radio and television -- these "fringe journalists" have cited dozens of inconsistencies with the official government story concerning the 9/11 WTC attacks. With the of the newest American phenomena -- YouTube – offering a visual canvas to communicate fresh ideas to the American public, hungry for new amusements with the on-going television writers strike in Hollywood, California. Alex Jones of INFOWARS.COM is one such "fringe journalist" and represents a new breed of communicators. Using the amazing capacity of YouTube.com, Jones is able to tell a complicated story of conspiracy and corruption to thousands (if not millions) of viewers. For instance, Jones points out that a paid F.B.I. informant (a former Egyptian military officer) secretly recorded conversations with the Bureau Chief of the F.B.I. field office in New York City, regarding an alleged plot to blow up the World Trade Center created by the F.B.I. itself.
Such shocking allegations have not been lost on candidate for President of the United States, Ron Paul, who seems to have seized upon the power of this new media and called for the abolishment of the F.B.I.
Interestingly, candidate for President Ron Paul (a Congressman from Houston, Texas) is heavily featured on the web-site that hosts the Alex Jones "Internet Radio" talk show; known as GCNlive.com. It seems both Alex Jones and Ron Paul understand the audience of sophisticated Internet users that harbor a distrust of the official story offered by the American government concerning the tragedy of the 9/11 WTC events. Opponents of Alex Jones have labeled him a "delusional conspiracy theorist", the American term for any individual that does not believe the official story that the terror attacks of 9/11 were caused by Middle Eastern Muslims. But, this does not seem to bother Jones who continues to promote his "conspiracy theories" in a compelling manner. Jones believes that the WTC attacks were staged military operations, organized by rogue elements of the American intelligence community. Proof is offered that America's North American Aerospace Defense Command was operating simulated war games on the precise hour of the attacks with the exact same scenario, the hijack of commercial airliners. The troubling fact that command and control of this military unit was transferred to Vice President Dick Cheney at the White House during the precise hour of the attacks is haunting. That is mere the beginning of the long list of "coincidences". Jones weaves a rich tapestry of facts and coincidences, which taken as a whole, appear to indicate some type of paramilitary style terrorist attack for the purpose of galvanizing the American people into demanding the United States mobilize for the "War on Terror", much like the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941, which ushered in the Second World War. Jones doesn't stop there. He paints a picture of future global bio-terrorism attacks designed to intimidate and frighten the masses with the specter of horrible fatal diseases; more deadly than the HIV and AIDS virus. He suggests on his radio programs that the individuals behind the false attacks of 9/11 actual desire to reduce the population of the world by the use of war, disease and pandemics. Jones then instructs his listeners on how to spread the news via the Internet.
These
troublesome internal American events cast a long shadow upon the legitimacy
of the F.B.I. operations in gathering up suspects for the "War on
Terror" in African nations. Until these serious questions are answered
to the satisfaction of the African people, it would appear that open compliance
with the F.B.I.'s "War on Terror"
